Founded by Hall of Fame Baseball Player Mike Schmidt and co-hosted by Waterfront Properties and HMY Yachts, Winner’s Circle Charities has grown into a well-respected charity. Unique in that it was born out of a small group of friends getting together to fish for fun, WCC is now an annual fishing tournament resulting in over two million dollars being distributed to charities. The Winner's Circles Charities raises money for and awareness of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, The American Cancer Society, The Marine Industry Education Foundation and The Richard David Kann Melanoma Foundation.

The National Safe Boating Council (NSBC) was organized in September 1958 under the name National Safe Boating Committee with a mission is to be the foremost coalition to advance and promote a safer recreational boating experience through education, outreach and training.
